Eight local organizations are sharing in the grants.

(Ripley County, Ind.) - The mission of the Community Foundation is to assist Ripley County charitable organizations in fulfilling their goals of making Ripley County a vibrant place to live, work, and visit. Our granting opportunities are a vital part of that mission and energy. It is a privilege for the community foundation to be able to be a part of the charitable initiatives taking place throughout Ripley County.

Small grants awarded $3,000 in grants to the following eight organizations serving Ripley County.

Safe Passage, Inc.: $500 for Special Events Equipment

Milan 54, Inc.: $350 for Capital Campaign Materials

Town of Osgood: $500 for Chairs for Town Hall

Tyson Library Association, Inc.: $200 for Electronic Equipment

Town of Milan Park: $500 for Refurbishing Playground Equipment

Southeastern Career Center: $500 for Yearbook expenses

Ripley County Drug Awareness Coalition: $200 for "Speak Out" Program

Hoosier Trails Council - Boy Scouts of America: $250 for Marketing to Girls

Small Project Grants are available throughout the year for amounts up to $500.  Applications are now being accepted for the next Small Project Grant Cycle. These are due in our office by 4:00pm on June 1.
